As I have grown closer to God, I have enjoyed watching sermons. I don’t watch too many pastors on YouTube because there are a good bit of pastors that are not preaching the Gospel. I want to learn from preachers who are not afraid to preach the Word even when the truth hurts.
Some pastors are preaching about one topic like money, positive thinking, grace, and other topics. I think it’s okay to preach about those topics, but there is more to the Bible than that. I want to hear preachers teach about sins, how to receive our blessings, how we can serve and live wholeheartedly for Jesus. The pastors that I am about to talk about always fill my spirit and leave me wanting to do better. They don’t sugarcoat The Word. I can honestly feel their anointing and their passion for leading God’s people in the right direction.
- John Gray – I remember seeing Pastor John Gray on TBN when he was filling in for Joel Osteen. I can’t recall the first sermon I watched from him, but I enjoyed that he preached The Word with scriptures. He’s humorous, but He lets you know that he is sincere about God’s Word. He’s a Man of God who preaches about overcoming suicide, overcoming depression, and he’s not afraid to tell where he’s fell short with God. He doesn’t just teach about how God will bless you, but what you need to do so God can bless you. His sermons showcase a lot of praise and worship, so if you like to praise and worship God, watch Pastor John Gray. If you have been to Relentless Church, tell me about your experience in the comments.

- Joyce Meyer – I’ve been watching Joyce Meyers for a long time since I got saved. She’s always speaking about her faith and overcoming a battlefield with the mind. She also talks about what will happen when you sin and the importance of repenting. I believe that she is a living testimony. She shows that no matter who you are or what you have done, God can still use you. Joyce shows a passion for missionary work. She’s always helping people in the US or across seas. Joyce Meyers’s sermons always let me know that the devil cannot have my joy and I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. She’s written numerous books and devotionals for many topics from Overcoming Fear to Experiencing Joy.

- Michael Todd – Earlier this year, my mom sent me a series that he preached about called “Relationship Goals.” It was an eight-part series that helped me understand why I should be content with my singleness and what I should be doing during my single season. This series can help everyone with their relationship status, whether you are single, in a relationship, engaged, married, separated, and divorced. I noticed that Mike Todd is animated, but he’s passionate about teaching The Word of God. He’s transparent about his life and his downfalls as a Christian. He makes me laugh, but I always grasp something from his sermons. Pastor Mike’s sermons are profound, and they will change your life. If you have a teen or a young adult, I think that they will thoroughly enjoy Pastor Mike Todd because he is not the type of pastor that sends everyone to Hell. He preaches the truth that can help our youth change and turn away from worldly ways. If you like Pastor John Gray, you will certainly like him. Check him out! If anybody has been to his church, Transformation Church, tell me about your experience in the comments.

- Sarah Jakes Roberts – In case her name doesn’t sound familiar, she is Pastor TD Jakes’s daughter. I don’t know if she calls herself a pastor, but I enjoy watching her. She talks about life from her perspective and about how God got her through trials and tribulations. I love the way she preaches with emotion. You can tell that Sarah genuinely has a love for God. She wants women to rise up and commit to their purpose in life. Sarah showcases that trials and tribulations cannot hold us from doing what God has called us to do. Her ministry gravitates to women who may have been broken and need strength to get back up. I watched a sermon from her called “The Come Up.” The sermon was about how we need to come up from being broken because God has things he wants to do for us. God cannot do things for us until we come up out of the dark. Sarah Jakes Roberts is someone to check out if you’re looking for a women’s perspective about who God is to her.

These are the 4 pastors/ministers I watch consistently. I am open to watching more pastors on Youtube, but they have to preach the Word of God. I won’t watch lukewarm preachers. Tell me in the comments who you watch or listen to in the comments. If you’re new to watching sermons, I hope that I have helped you out with this post! Have a fantastic day, evening, or night!
Prayer: Lord, we ask that you save those who are watching any of these sermons that I listed above. Help them to start their journey with You! Let the sermons be a blessing to their life. Jesus give us the discernment to know when the pastors are not preaching Your Word, so we will not watch them anymore! If anyone is reading this, help them to find a church home so that they can worship with other Christians. Lord, You are so AMAZING, and we want to grow closer to you each and every day that you allow us to live. In Jesus name, Amen!
Acts 14:27 NET – When they arrived and gathered the church together, they reported all the things God had done with them, and that he had opened a door of faith for the Gentiles.
