God Wants All of Us

In our life as Christians, we put our BIG God in a tiny box. We believe that God only wants to be with us while we read the Bible, pray, and worship Him. Do you think God wants more of us than just those spiritual activities? A God that created all of us, wants to only be with us while we are in our Quiet Time? No that can’t be true. God is calling us to stretch our relationship with Him. He wants to spend time with us every part of the day, but we only allow Him to come in for the morning and night. What about noon and evening?

When you think about it, we’re stuck in religion without realizing it. God wants more of our time as we watch tv, do our hair, go to classes, and even eat our meals. So how do we involve God in our everyday activities? We communicate to Him as we wash our hair. We worship Him while we go to the grocery store. We don’t have to make a big scene but say “Thank You Jesus for allowing me to buy groceries.” Or “Thank You Jesus for keeping me covered while I was shopping.” Today in this world, anything could happen while you’re out and about. God wants your acknowledgement as you go about your day. Maybe one day, you’re uncertain about what to wear and God gives you a vision of an outfit for the day. That has happened to me and God would show me what to wear.

God is our Father and He wants a relationship with His sons and daughters. He wants you to enjoy your life, but He also wants to enjoy those moments with you! If you’re bored, God wants to be there with you! While you’re at work, He wants to be there with you. If you’re sitting in your home, reading a book, God wants to talk about it with you. Our relationship with God should not be limited to going to church, praise and worship, reading the Bible, and praying. God did not create this HUGE unique world to be limited to several religious activities. He wants you to experience the beach and travel the world with Him. He’s created all of these places for you to explore and spend time with Him in. Our life should not be contained as Christians.

God has created a purpose for all of us, not just to serve, but to spend time with us in that plan. He has amazing things in store for us to do together! He wants us to get through this life together. Take your Father’s hand and let Him lead you. Let Him show you what He wants for your life. He likes to have fun and He wants you to have fun with your life.

Isn’t it amazing to know that our Father wants to be a part of every aspect of our lives? When we are in trouble or hurt, He wants to wipe the tears from our eyes. He wants to reassure us that everything will be okay. God wants to hold us in those moments where we feel alone. He wants to cherish the quiet moments with us. He wants to celebrate accomplishments with us. God wants all of us! Not a small portion of our lives. I hope that this post encouraged you. I hope that you expand your relationship with God after reading this. Have an amazing week lovely people!

Prayer: Father forgive us for limiting what You can do in our lives. Forgive us for putting You in a box for religious activities. Thank You for revealing to us that You want to be a part of our whole life. You want to be with us every part of the day from morning to night. We want to do better by including You more. We want to know what You have to say during our grocery shopping or when we go to the mall. We want to have fun and take trips with You in mind. Most importantly, help us to acknowledge You throughout our day. Help us to stop glamorizing Quiet Time and to spend time with You all of the time. In Jesus name, we love You, Amen!

Isaiah 40:28 CEV – Don’t you know? Haven’t you heard? The Lord is the eternal God, Creator of the earth. He never gets weary or tired; his wisdom cannot measured.
